Meet Micah

I was burned as a baby at 13 months old. My burns are still visible on my chest, left arm, shoulder, and stomach. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned how to self-soothe, breathe deep and heal from my trauma. It took many years of doing inner work to finally feel comfortable in my own skin, and really just to “be”. Healing from trauma isn’t easy work but totally worth it. I shared this because there are so many people still suffering from trauma in their lives, and I know the deep sadness and discouragement you live with day after day. If you don’t process and release trauma, it can manifest in other ways at best, unhappiness, and at worst, destructiveness and even death. You just stay in a sick, traumatic cycle. I’m thankful for my life and wouldn’t change a thing in my story, and hope that those still struggling can find their way through healing.” -Micah
